| Fujian tulou, Fujian: Tulou is the home of the Hakka people in remote valleys in the Minxi mountains, Fujian province. More than 20,000 tulou here are considered “living fossils” of ancient Chinese architecture. These houses are often round, square and oval in shape. Each tulou can be considered a small village or a “little kingdom” of a large family. | Wu Liangyi wine jar building, Sichuan: Located in Yibin (Sichuan) the hometown of China’s most popular Baijiu wine, this strange building is the headquarters of Wu Liangyi company. Built on a land area of more than 6,200 m2, the “giant wine bottle” has a height of 56.2 m with 13 floors and a capacity of about 300 people.
