A man was extremely shocked when he found the treasure buried right in the house he had inherited from his relatives.

A man in France has inherited a house from his relatives. He decided to auction this house.

While cleaning things, he discovered 100 kg of gold buried everywhere in the house like under the table, the legs of the chairs, in the bathroom… even carefully hidden in a whiskey box.

After that, this man dug up a pile of gold bars buried in other places.

The amount of stored gold includes a total of 5,000 gold pieces, including two gold bars weighing 12 kg and 37 gold bars weighing 1 kg. The total assets of the treasury are estimated to be about 3.5 million euros (about 84.5 billion VND).

According to documents found in the late owner’s estate, the gold was purchased legally in the 1950s and 1960s.

Fate found the treasure left by the former owner, however he will have to pay 45% inheritance tax and if the deceased owner has not declared the above amount of gold, the heir will have to pay the collected taxes within 3 years.
