A one-year-old Malinois shepherd disappeared from his home in Côte-d’Or last summer (France).
Farid, his owner, was upset and spent months trying to find his dogs’ closest friends.
Unfortunately, he was lost for several months in vain. Still. Eight months later, Badit was discovered by a friendly stranger on the side of the road.
When the puppy was only 4 months old, it was stolen.
The dog was lucky enough to have a microchip, which allowed his owner to locate him after he was found on his collar 310 miles from home.
The two closest friends were delighted to see each other again and the recovery was well organised.
Thanks to the shelter’s incredible life-saving efforts, an atheist stranger, and a microchip, Baпdit and Farid can now coexist in harmony.
Farid hurried to follow Baпdit’s path as soon as he heard of the good news.
He said: “I am so grateful to everyone who helped him get better and I can’t stress enough how important it is to chip your dogs.” Without that chip, the miracle of bringing Baedit home would not have been possible. One of the happiest days of my life was the day Baedit came home.
Watch the heartwarming video of the two friends sharing. Farid revealed it and said that even though he had come a long way to be together, he was happy to see his dog again.
