But while the actress is busy name-dropping Swift like her new haircare line-up, the singer is said to be more interested in dodging the drama than joining the party.

Amid such perilous times, Lively is said to be leaning heavily on her friendship with Taylor Swift.

According to sources speaking with Heat Magazine, Blake Lively is allegedly trying to use her bond with the pop sensation Taylor Swift to navigate the rough waters. It is being said that Lively is repeatedly trying to highlight her bond with Swift in every interview she can manage to salvage her reputation, which has been somewhat tarnished after the It Ends With Us controversy.

Taylor’s huge popularity is something Blake can hitch her wagon to, so she’s making a big point to emphasize what close friends they are. However, the plot thickens with a new twist from DailyMail, as an insider told the outlet how Taylor Swift is allegedly trying to stay away from Blake Lively’s drama. Tired of getting involved in every mess that Lively creates, sources noted that Swift is no longer interested in covering up for the mistakes that the actress did. This time, Swift is reportedly trying to save her own image.

Although Blake Lively is deliberately trying to name-drop her bestie Taylor Swift in every interview, much like she did with her hair line-up during the It Ends With Us promotion, the singer is said to be wary of getting involved in the drama surrounding Lively. Unwilling to get caught up in the mess, which she believes might impact her own reputation, Swift is said to be trying to keep her distance.

[Swift didn’t] want to get involved because she feared it might negatively impact her own image. When it comes to the wave of bad press around It Ends with Us, Taylor did not want to get involved. She has stayed clear of drama, including anything political, and she knew that this was not going to go well if she jumped in to defend her.
