Jabari Parker explained why he reacted emotionally after he was asked about his first overseas season with FC Barcelona.

In remarks Jijantes FC, the former NBA player explained, once again in emotional terms, why he reacted with tears to the question.
“They were tears of gratitude. I wasn’t sure I’d be able to play again. In Barcelona, I’ve recovered my love for basketball,” he stated.
Last night, Barcelona lost the Spanish League semifinal against Real Madrid 0-3, and Parker was asked about his thoughts on his first season in Spain.
However, the 29-year-old could not say a word about it as he got emotional and could not hold back his tears. After a few follow-up questions, Parker still didn’t say anything, and the reporter gave him a moment to compose his thoughts alone.
In his debut EuroLeague season, Parker averaged 10.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 9.6 PIR per game in 38 appearances.
Meanwhile, in the Spanish ACB League, his stat line was 12.3 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 11.3 EFF per game in 38 matches.
