Archaeologists have discovered a large burial site in Central America. This is an ancient tomb of the mighty, evidenced by the countless gold artifacts and offerings that were buried between 700-1000 years ago.
Many scholars have called this the archeological discovery of the “century” because it reveals the power of a Mesoamerican civilization that we had never known before.

“Sitio Conte” is the only place that provides important evidence of the “Golden Patriarch” civilization. “We estimate that this civilization dates from 250 AD to the 16th century, when the Spanish settled here,” archaeologist John Hoopes shared with National Geographic.
In fact, the beautiful stone columns and carvings at El Cano have attracted treasure hunters since the early 20th century, but unfortunately, they have only excavated fake tombs or civilian graves in the area.
After carefully studying the Sitio Conte area a few years ago, archaeologist Julia Mayo of the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute decided to rediscover the ruins of El Caño. They dug deep underground and found the skull of a very high-class patriarch with a circular chest pocket, a vampire face, carved bracelets and a belt.

A recent excavation uncovered the tomb of a patriarch. Around this “golden” patriarch, at least 25 bodies are very carefully arranged, according to some system that has not yet been revealed in modern history. Among these remains was a child of the patriarch, as evidenced by a gold chest, bracelets, earrings and a necklace of small semi-precious stones.

In front of the vampire, the bracelet and breastplate encrusted with pure gold were on the patriarch’s body. |
At the bottom of the well, the patriarch himself rested on a “platform” around which he organized 15 other bodies. Mayo believed that these were the bodies of prisoners of war or slaves – people who were sacrificed during funerals or forced to kill themselves. They also found a vase full of poisonous fish near the grave. This symbol indicates that these people were forced to kill themselves with poison.
Another secret detail is that the bodies around the patriarch are covered with ceramic plates. These plates seem to have been made to cover corpses and placed in the foreground.

Another great mystery of El Cano is the half-human creatures and mysterious creatures or artifacts buried in the gold jewelry.
“According to some experts, they represent tribal ancestors. I think they are very similar to werewolves and vampires in western culture. Some have fangs and are made of animals or still half human, half animal,” Hoopes judged.
In fact, the idea of being a representative of an “animal” spirit was very common in pre-white American civilizations.
